Osmotics Water Filters are fast becoming the leading brand within the water filtration industry. Our water filters and Reverse Osmosis systems improve water taste and quality by reducing impurities.
PVC plastic float valve ideal for low flow, automatic level control applications. Fixed arm is tank mountable with integral bulkhead fitting. 0.093" orifice with free flow outlet. Estimated flow rate of 1.5 GPM at 40 PSI, the sealing operation has been tested to 100 PSI+. Valves come complete with jam nut, sealing washer, polyethylene float, and 18-8 stainless steel hardware.
This float valve can be used in conjunction with an auto shutoff valve to stop RO production when a reservoir is full.
It can also be used as an auto top-off device in an aquarium.
All parts are made from NSF approved materials. Replaceable seals are made of long-wearing, chemical resistant Santoprene® rubber.
Reverse osmosis (RO) is a filtration method that removes many types of large molecules and ions from solutions by applying pressure to the solution when it is on one side of a selective membrane. The result is that the solute is retained on the pressurized side of the membrane and the pure solvent is allowed to pass to the other side.
Reverse osmosis is most commonly known for its use in drinking water purification from seawater, removing the salt and other substances from the water molecules.
