This softening filter is ideal for fitting on to any RO system as a softening pre-filter.
Softening water prior to feeding a Reverse Osmosis unit results in increased pre-filter and membrane life. Softening is widely regarded as an essential pre-treatment for the Reverse Osmosis process.
This filter is pre-filled with a cation exchange resin with beads of a uniform size.
Service life is dependant on the hardness of the water supplied to this filter.
