Product Description

A full size 36 GPD Reverse Osmosis system which is ideal for aquariums, window cleaning, car washing and drinking water when used with our pressure tank kit.

This full size system has superior pre-filtration due to its large 10inch filters and also includes a membrane flush system which reduces membrane fouling thereby extending life.

This RO system will remove upto 99% of tap water contaminants.

The Osmotics RO system includes:-

  • 1 x 36 US gallon per day membrane
  • 1 x 5 micron Sediment Pre-filter
  • 1 x Granular Activated Carbon Pre-filter
  • 1 x Carbon Block Pre-filter
  • 1 x Feed Water Clamp
  • 1 x Waste Water Clamp
  • 1 x Filter Housing Wrench
  • 2 Metres of Red Tubing
  • 2 Metres of Green Tubing
  • 2 Metres of Blue Tubing
  • 1 x Membrane Flush Kit *
  • 1 x Pressure Gauge

  • * Using the flush valve regularly increases membrane life.

All Osmotics Reverse Osmosis Systems are shipped fully assembled complete with comprehensive instruction manuals.

The effectiveness and productivity of RO systems increases with greater water pressure and temperature. The actual flow rate (in GPD) of any reverse osmosis system depends on your home water pressure and temperature.

While manufacturers state that 60 psi is required at the membrane for full production, we know that not everyone's cold water is at 60 psi and 77 degrees F therefore, we remind you that you might get less than 36 GPD, perhaps 50% or even less if your pressure and temperature are very low!

So when flow rate is critical for you, you need to consider all these factors.

All RO units should have their prefilters changed every 6 months or 2500gallons throughput, whichever comes sooner. The prefilters protect the membrane from sediment and chlorine which will damage the most expensive element. The filter replacement kit for this unit can be ordered from <here>

    Product Reviews

    1. Well constructed good looking bit of kit.

"I did have problems installing the RO membrane as I couldn't get it to seat properly in the housing - a little warning about this would have been helpful.
However YouTube came to the rescue and the setup is working well.
I will probably have to invest in a booster pump to get maximum value and flow from this system.

    2. Freshwater Aquarium now A1

"Bought this unit for my 260 litre heavily planted aquarium and the spectacular results really do speak for themselves. I was a little daunted at the idea of setting up an RO unit but the kit came fully assembled and was literally plug and play.
I fitted an optional TDS meter which was an absolute doddle so now i can see that my resulting filtered water comes out at 0.00ppm.
All communications with the company via email were dealt with very quickly and i am more than happy to recommend both Osmotics and their products.
      Many many thanks guys.

    3. Great customer service

"Product works great, produces good RO water for my reef system.
Best price around for what you get.
When the unit arrived a valve was broken so emailed them over the weekend to which they replied nearly straight away & sent me out a replacement valve the next day without any quibbles.
      Would defo use Osmotics.co.uk again.

    4. Review for 4 Stage R.O unit

"Pleased with delivery time, easy to use instructions, I use my unit for my Marine fish tank, my old 3 stage unit only gave me water with a phosphate level of 0.06, where as this unit gets it down to 0.01 so I am well impressed, but maybe if you want zero levels you need to have a 6 stage unit, all in all great piece of kit for the money."

    What is Reverse Osmosis?

Reverse osmosis (RO) is a filtration method that removes many types of large molecules and ions from solutions by applying pressure to the solution when it is on one side of a selective membrane. The result is that the solute is retained on the pressurized side of the membrane and the pure solvent is allowed to pass to the other side.

Reverse osmosis is most commonly known for its use in drinking water purification from seawater, removing the salt and other substances from the water molecules.
