Product Description

A full size 75 Gallon Per Day Reverse Osmosis system which is ideal for aquariums, window cleaning and car washing.

This full size system has superior pre-filtration due to its large 10inch filters and also includes a membrane flush system which reduces membrane fouling thereby extending life.

This RO system will remove upto 99% of tap water contaminants.

The Osmotics RO system includes:-

  • 1 x 75 US gallon per day membrane
  • 1 x 5 micron Sediment Pre-filter
  • 1 x Granular Activated Carbon Pre-filter
  • 1 x Refillable Deionisation Post Filter
  • 1 x Inline Carbon Post Filter
  • 1 x Carbon Block Pre-filter
  • 1 x Feed Water Clamp
  • 1 x Waste Water Clamp
  • 1 x Filter Housing Wrench
  • 2 Metres of Red Tubing
  • 2 Metres of Green Tubing
  • 2 Metres of Blue Tubing
  • 1 x Membrane Flush Kit *
  • 1 x Pressure Gauge

  • * Using the flush valve regularly increases membrane life.

All Osmotics Reverse Osmosis Systems are shipped fully assembled complete with comprehensive instruction manuals.

The effectiveness and productivity of RO systems increases with greater water pressure and temperature. The actual flow rate (in GPD) of any reverse osmosis system depends on your home water pressure and temperature.

While manufacturers state that 60 psi is required at the membrane for full production, we know that not everyone's cold water is at 60 psi and 77 degrees F therefore, we remind you that you might get less than 75 GPD, perhaps 50% or even less if your pressure and temperature are very low!

So when flow rate is critical for you, you need to consider all these factors.

All RO units should have their prefilters changed every 6 months or 2500gallons throughput, whichever comes sooner. The prefilters protect the membrane from sediment and chlorine which will damage the most expensive element. The filter replacement kit for this unit can be ordered from <here>

The Deionisation stage may need refilling more regularly than the prefilters, it depends entirely on how your unit is performing and how much water you produce. Loose Deionisation Resin for this unit can be ordered from the <here> in 1,5,10 and 25 litre quantities.

The post carbon filter for this unit can be ordered from <here>.

    1. Works well for me. – Rating 5

Anyone who lives in London knows the water can be extremely hard. I got this unit to soften up the water to use on my tropical fish tank. The result.

1.) Extremely easy to install. I was skeptic about the piercing coupling you fit to the water supply but this was the easiest part to install.

2.)My mains water runs at 30psi the result is 15liter of rodi in +/- 4H 45min. It will do better with higher pressure in main supply.

3)My mains water TDS = 580, after running through system TDS = 40.

4.) KH from mains 20+ GH 30+ after running through unit at 30psi pressure = KH 10 GH 19.

All in all I am happy with the results.
I will be connecting a booster pump to up the pressure a bit and i will update the results from there. The water works great in my tropical tank,,, remember to mix 50 tap tap RODI water..... At the moment my results are not pure enough for a mix and im trying reduce my tanks hardness and tds to more acceptable levels.. remember to stick some air in your RODI water before sticking it into your tank.

    What is Reverse Osmosis?

Reverse osmosis (RO) is a filtration method that removes many types of large molecules and ions from solutions by applying pressure to the solution when it is on one side of a selective membrane. The result is that the solute is retained on the pressurized side of the membrane and the pure solvent is allowed to pass to the other side.

Reverse osmosis is most commonly known for its use in drinking water purification from seawater, removing the salt and other substances from the water molecules.
