Product Description

Auto flush valves are engineered to maximize system efficiency and prolong membrane life. These components utilise a normally closed solenoid valve which automatically “power flushes” the membrane upon start-up and then subsequently for 20 seconds every 8 hours.

This turbulent water action removes organic and inorganic contaminants from the membrane surface. Any standing, idle water in the membrane module is automatically purged to the drain.

We recommend that membranes are flushed regularly to maintain system performance and membrane life. These flush solenoids perform that process seamlessly and automatically.

Note a power supply is not supplied with this valve but is required.

Specifications:-

  • 24v DC 220ma - two wire supply connection with additional wiring for switches and solenoids if required.
  • Flush Time 20 seconds
  • Built in timer - not adjustable
  • Two 1/4" Male Connectors required for tubing installation.

Product Reviews

  1. Works as advertised

"Seems to work just fine, wrong item sent fist time but corrected immediately at no cost to me. Would be nice to have it be time-adjustable but 18 seconds/hour is probably good enough for most applications."

What is Reverse Osmosis?

Reverse osmosis (RO) is a filtration method that removes many types of large molecules and ions from solutions by applying pressure to the solution when it is on one side of a selective membrane. The result is that the solute is retained on the pressurized side of the membrane and the pure solvent is allowed to pass to the other side.

Reverse osmosis is most commonly known for its use in drinking water purification from seawater, removing the salt and other substances from the water molecules.
