Product Description

A full size 150 GPD Reverse Osmosis system with Deionisation stage which is ideal for aquariums, window cleaning, car washing and many more applications requiring ultra-pure water. Now with Free pressure gauge as standard.

This full size system has superior pre-filtration due to its large 10inch filters and also includes a membrane flush system which reduces membrane fouling thereby extending life.

This RO system will remove almost 100% of tap water contaminants due to the additional full size deionisation stage.

The Osmotics RO system includes:-

  • 1 x 150 US gallon per day membrane
  • 1 x 5 micron Sediment Pre-filter
  • 1 x Carbon Block Pre-filter
  • 1 x 700ml Deionisation Post-filter
  • 1 x Feed Water Clamp
  • 1 x Waste Water Clamp
  • 1 x Filter Housing Wrench
  • 2 Metres of Red Tubing
  • 2 Metres of Green Tubing
  • 2 Metres of Blue Tubing
  • 1 x Membrane Flush Kit *

  • * Using the flush valve regularly increases membrane life.

All Osmotics Reverse Osmosis Systems are shipped fully assembled complete with comprehensive instruction manuals.

The effectiveness and productivity of RO systems increases with greater water pressure and temperature. The actual flow rate (in GPD) of any reverse osmosis system depends on your home water pressure and temperature.

While manufacturers state that 60 psi is required at the membrane for full production, we know that not everyone's cold water is at 60 psi and 77 degrees F therefore, we remind you that you might get less than 150 GPD, perhaps 50% or even less if your pressure and temperature are very low!

So when flow rate is critical for you, you need to consider all these factors.

All RO units should have their prefilters changed every 6 months or 2500gallons throughput, whichever comes sooner. The prefilters protect the membrane from sediment and chlorine which will damage the most expensive element. The filter replacement kit for this unit can be ordered from <here>

The Deionisation stage may need refilling more regularly than the prefilters, it depends entirely on how your unit is performing and how much water you produce. Loose Deionisation Resin for this unit can be ordered from the <here> in 1,5,10 and 25 litre quantities.

This particular system was recommended to me by Osmosis advisor and it fits my needs exactly for my cleaning business.

These guys are very helpful and know what they are talking about so ask first before committing to a model that may not be suitable for your needs.

The set up instructions are inclusive so read carefully. I muddled through and set my system up in about 30 minutes.

The water purity was 00.00 on my first batch and I was very pleased.

To give you an idea of how to set up an Osmosis system please watched this video online http://youtu.be/XPdzLJWb4R8
Although this link does not refer to the 150 gallon model it gives you a practical idea of how to set up an Osmosis system before you take the plunge.

I produced my first 25 gallon jerry can of water in about 1.5 hours, which is brilliant.

I did purchase a water pump to use with the system as the pressure in my location is not great. The pump is almost silent and won’t annoy anyone.

Remember to flush the system for five minutes before and after use to add life to your filters etc.

I bought this unit after reading all the reviews and I am not disappointed. It is very easy to install and up and running within 10 minutes. I have recommended Osmotics on the UR and I will also be buying my consumables from them.

Unit is a great peice of kit. Feels strong and well made. Having the pressure gauge and flush kit which some sites charge more for is a nice touch.

My order had a slight issue (a fitting was missing or dislodged in transit). Staff replied to emails re the issue quickly, diagnosed it and sent out a replacement bit with no problems. Was impressed and will continue to use this site for the consumables.

Only wish we had done business sooner!
Very reasonable price, great quality products and can highly recommend the additional 150 GPD upgrade!

Got my unit delivered next day. Also purchased an inline TDS meter. Was getting 14ppm before the DI stage and 0ppm after.

Easy to setup, very well built unit.

      Can't fault it!

    What is Reverse Osmosis?

Reverse osmosis (RO) is a filtration method that removes many types of large molecules and ions from solutions by applying pressure to the solution when it is on one side of a selective membrane. The result is that the solute is retained on the pressurized side of the membrane and the pure solvent is allowed to pass to the other side.

Reverse osmosis is most commonly known for its use in drinking water purification from seawater, removing the salt and other substances from the water molecules.
