Product Description

DI Mixed Bed Resin is used in our refillable cartridges. Demineralisation Resins are used to reduce TDS (polishing the water).

The TDS from a RO unit is not always as low as required so using DI resin will bring the TDS down to almost zero.

Our DI resin is supplied in heat sealed aluminium foil bags, not a supermarket plastic bag sent by other suppliers. This ensures that your DI resin is not contaminated or damaged in transit.

Quantity 1000ml

  1. Good stuff and easy to work with and replace

    by

"I find this bag lasts me about a year as I replace it every 6 months or as soon as my TDS meter registers 001 on the scale. Easy to replace in my RO unit and although a little messy just have some paper down so you can scoop it up and save it for next time so no waste. "

  2. LOVE this stuff....

    by

"Ordered a spare pack of this with my last filter order - this stuff is brilliant = forget cheaper alternatives - you get what you pay for and this one never fails to impress - zero TDS all the way - lasts for quite a while too."

What is Reverse Osmosis?

Reverse osmosis (RO) is a filtration method that removes many types of large molecules and ions from solutions by applying pressure to the solution when it is on one side of a selective membrane. The result is that the solute is retained on the pressurized side of the membrane and the pure solvent is allowed to pass to the other side.

Reverse osmosis is most commonly known for its use in drinking water purification from seawater, removing the salt and other substances from the water molecules.
