5 Litre Colour Changing Deionisation Resin

DI Mixed Bed Resin is used in our refillable cartridges. Demineralisation Resins are used to reduce TDS (polishing the water). The TDS from a RO unit is not always as low as required so using DI resin will bring the TDS down to almost zero. 

This version also contains colour indicators which change from blue to amber as the resin becomes exhausted, these cartridges provide the best in water purification and filtration. It is recommended that the resin is replaced shortly before complete colour change to ensure continued polishing.

Note that high pH feed waters may interfere with the indicating dye contained in this resin, for this reason we recommend this filter must be used downstream (after) a standard mixed bed DI filter for maximum effectiveness of the resin, if this filter is placed upstream of a mixed bed DI filter the effectiveness will be reduced significantly.
